Entry 4 Search Engines and Online Database
Assalaamualaikum and welcome back to my blog!
Hello, we are here again to the topic number 4 with a new topic that i have learnt in class which is Search Engines and Online Database.
Since i am not really good in technology, i just realized that "www" is actually stands for "world wide web"
Search Engines is a web tool that allows users to enter keywords and find information on website contained in its database. These search engines have different database. Nowadays, Search Engines are widely used by all of the people from all around the world to find answer for their questions. The questions could be a person's background, history, facts, food recipe and more. The example of Search Engines are Google or Yahoo software.
Database is actually a store references to webpages. Basically, it is a storage where all indexed webpages are stored. It is definitely different from the search engine because it contains only essential information of a webpage.
In the class, i learnt a new interesting lesson on how to search for people in the internet. My lecturer has taught me simple steps to achieve the lesson. First, go to "Google" and search "Pipl"
Now, let's talk about the web. there are 3 layers of web which are Surface Web, Deep Web and Dark web.
For example, CMS KUPTM KL
For example the government website.

Then, click the first website that appear and simply put your friend or family's name on it and click the "search" botton.
And finally, there you go! that is my friend!

Next, i am going to share with you how to find websites that are selling things that you like. It is easy. First, go to "Google" and search "Savvy search" and click on the first website that appeared.
Next, click whatever things that you like in the "search" box such as flowers, trees, or rabbit. I like makeups so much, so i am going to search for makeups.
Then, click the "search" button, then you will see a list of websites that are selling things that you have searched.
Lastly, i also learnt about 3 layers of web.
Surface Web
Surface web is basically for public do,aim. it is a we where we search for random things such as Artists, Gossips, Foods and more.Deep Web
Deep Web is a website that is privately registered. We could not search the result in "Google" but we need to login in order to access with the website.For example, CMS KUPTM KL
Dark Web
Dark web is actually a website that contain secrets or private information. Not everyone could login to this website.For example the government website.
